宿泊体験談 (Lodging Report)＜日本語訳付き＞December 21(Sunday) 1997 XIV Biwa-ko by M.S. (Guidance of XIV Biwa-ko) 
“Your first impressions of EXIV at Lake Biwa will be long lasting .
In my opinion the best hotel in the area - not to be missed ,
staying there is an experience”Your first impression of EXIV at Lake Biwa will be long lasting . From the moment that you arrive , you can be assured of a warm welcome and first class service . I spent one night there with my wife on Sunday, December 21 . We left Nagoya by car around noon and had lunch at the Prince Hotel just down the street from the EXIV resort . I was impressed at all the grass on the property . Reminded me of a golf course . We arrived at EXIV at about 2:30pm . We were greeted by the Concierge and were asked to wait in the lobby until 3:00pm to check-in . As I stepped into the lobby, I sensed the atmosphere of elegance and class all around . That evening we chose to eat French . Luxurious board , splendid service , and the French ambiance , made the restaurant a perfect place to enjoy the meal . I choose the 5000 yen course which I thought was a bargain . 
After the superb cuisine , we enjoyed cocktails in the lounge and bar located in the lobby ,
while listening to soothing melodies from the pianist .
It was the perfect way to end the day .
I was extremely pleased with the accommodations . The room we stayed in was extremely large and the bathtub was almost as large as the swimming pool . I am exaggerating of course , but it was big . I also was able to relax and unwind in the spa . Welcome to Shangri-la . This was one of my favorite places to be . Time spent there will most definitely melt all those worries away . I especially liked the sauna . I must have spent at least an 90 minutes there . All in all , EXIV at Lake Biwa was fantastic . On a scale from 1 to 10 , I would give it a 9 . The only complaint I had is that we were not able to check-in prior to 3:00pm . EXIV at Lake Biwa is a definite Utopia where life approaches perfection . Enjoy . ＜日本語訳＞ 平成９年１２月２１日（日） エクシブ琵琶湖 by M.S.
『貴方のエクシブ琵琶湖の最初の印象は長く続くでしょう。私の意見では、あの辺りで泊まるべき最上のホテルです』貴方のエクシブ琵琶湖の最初の印象は長く続くでしょう。 貴方が到着した時から、暖かな歓迎と一流のサービスを確信できるでしょう。 １２月２１日（日）の夜、妻と泊まりました。 正午ごろに名古屋を車で出発して、エクシブ琵琶湖の少し南にあるプリンスホテルで昼食をとりました。 一面の芝生が印象的で、まるでゴルフコースみたいでした。 エクシブ琵琶湖に２時半ごろ、到着しました。 ホテルのボーイに挨拶をされて、「チェックインするには３時までロビーでお待ち下さい」と言われました。 ロビーに入ると、あたり一面、優雅で上品な雰囲気を感じました。 夕食はフランス料理を食べる事にしました。 贅沢な食卓、豪華なサービス、そして、フランス風の雰囲気は、食事を楽しむために満足できるものでした。 ５千円のコースを選びましたが、それはお得だったと思います。 素晴らしい食事の後、ロビーにあるラウンジとバーでピアニストによる生演奏を聞きながらカクテルを飲みました。 それは１日の最高の終わりを演出してくれました。 
宿泊施設には極めて満足しました。私達が泊まった部屋はとても広く、浴槽はまるでプールみたいに大きかったです。
もちろん、少しオーバーに言っていますが、それでも大きかったです。また、温泉大浴場でリラックスする事ができました。地上の楽園へようこそ。 そこは私の好きな場所の1つとなりました。そこで過ごす時間は心配事を忘れさせてくれます。 私はサウナ風呂が特に気に入りました。少なくとも９０分は（温泉大浴場に）入っていたでしょう。 エクシブ琵琶湖は（ほとんどの点で）素晴らしかったです。１から１０までの点数をつけるとしたら私は９点をつけます。 唯一の不満は（早く到着したにもかかわらず）、３時までチェックインできなかった事です。 エクシブ琵琶湖での滞在はほとんど完璧といえるほどのユートピアです。貴方も楽しんで下さい。 ＜ホームページの主からのコメント＞ 在日外国人からの宿泊体験談を私なりに訳してみましたが、日本語として自然な表現となるように、一部、表現を変えています。 ３時前に到着してもチェックインの手続きができなかった事は私も経験済みです。 私の場合は５分前くらいでしたが、もっと長く待っている人もいたので、不公平とならない様に同じ様に３時まで待たされました。 外国からの問い合わせもあるので、外国からの旅行者にも、このホームページを利用してもらおうかと考えています。 リゾートホテルの宿命として休前日（土曜日）は満室なのに平日の稼働率が低いものですが、外国からの観光客なら土曜日だけの利用というのも少なく（外国から１泊２日で日本に来る人も少ないでしょう）、 平日の稼働率アップに貢献できるでしょう。 また、ホテルの損益はレストラン部門の損益に大きく左右されますが、外国からの旅行者なら（私の様に近くのスーパーに食料品の買い出しに行く事もなく）、ホテルで食事をする人は多いでしょう。 私はリゾートクラブの一会員で、ホテルの関係者ではないので、そこまで考える必要はないのですけどね。 英語バージョンを制作も検討していますが、誰か手伝ってくれる人はいませんか？ このページについてのお問い合わせは、E-mail でお寄せ下さい。 ・宿泊体験談のコーナーに戻る ・ホームページに戻る ・お得な一般のホテルやお得な航空券、高速バス等の予約はこちら |
